Walk with a Naturalist
led by Peter Kurtz

Sunday, June 8, 2:00-3:00pm
In The Park!

Wander along the creek trail, through the hillside and around meadow with Peter Kurtz, professional nature specialist, to learn more about the commonplace and delve deeper into the unique features of High School Park. This promises to be a walk of discovery, right in our community backyard!

Story and a Stroll
led by Ruth Pfeffer

Sunday, July 13, 10:00-11:30am
In The Park!

Join Ruth Pfeffer, professional birder, as we look and listen for life all around us. Catch her boundless enthusiasm as we learn more about our feathered friends through storytelling, group discussion, and of course a stroll through the park to identify many varieties of birds through sight and sound. This event is geared toward elementary age children, however ALL ages are welcome to attend.

Autumn Stargazing
led by Albert Lamperti

Tuesday, October 7, 7:00-8:30pm (Cloud date October 8)
In The Park!

Gaze at the autumn sky by the light of the moon on this evening adventure with Al Lamperti, Observing Chairperson of the Delaware Valley Amateur Astronomers Association. Through the use of telescopes, a laser pointer, and the naked eye, Al will help us identify and understand what we see above.
